NARRATIVE ESSAY:THEME(FRIENDSHIP).

Begin your story as follows: The sky was dark. There was roaring of thunders  and flashes of lightnings………..

The sky was dark. There was roaring of thunders and flashes of lightnings indicating a heavy rain would be falling soon. All of us are waiting anxiously for Daniel's arrival. Frightening thoughts raced through our mind.We were at loss for words. Suddenly gust of rain fell down like bullets. It was so heavy. Alif nervously took his handphone and tried to call Daniel. There was no response. A haze of fear surrounded him.His other mates Haiqal ,Fahmi,faiz  were on the brink of tears.Panic started to engulf them.

I recalled vividly of the good  old memories.Those nostalgic moments when we were in form 3.  Haiqal ,Fahmi,Daniel,Alif and I  were best friends then.Now with our outstanding results in SPM,we went  separate ways.We were chosen to study overseas. Thanks to the Almighty.We were all over the moon.But our friendship was not over yet. 

Every semester holidays,we would assemble in our so-called 'club' and hang out till wee hours in the morning.We were saturated with happiness whenever we met because those were the best times we could chit chat until the next morning.

A long semester holidays was coming so we planned many things.As usual our “club” would be our meeting place.Except for Daniel,he  had to stay back a week longer due to his incomplete project paper. Daniel was scheduled to arrive exactly on his birthday. So this time we had planned a grand celebration and would call our female ex-classmates. So we collected some money together to celebrate the occasion.

We did everything such as car wash, cleaning  resident’s backyard, painting and many more odd jobs  to buy many things to  celebrate  the occasion.We also  took some time to wrap  special present for Daniel.

Finally August 16th is here, Danial finally  touched down at KLIA exactly 12 noon. We gave him a call and asked him to come to our usual club at   'Taman Tengku Anis' first before he  could stop anywhere. He knew next to nothing about our plan.Our  plan was interrupted when I heard Alif's phone rang. I could  see from Alif’s  face that it was  a bad news.Copious tears welled up in his eyes.His eyes were brimming with tears.We were wondering  what went wrong.Dark clouds seemed to overloom our heads.Alif revealed that the taxi that took Daniel skidded and hit a divider.The driver failed to apply a brake when a motorcycle was seen making a sudden u-turn.

The driver instead hit a big shady creepy tree and the car just blew up in seconds.We felt the whole weight of the world were dropping heavily upon our shoulder.The driver and the passengers  of the vehicles were found dead.We knew that Danial was one of the passengers. Our happiness had  just turned into a worst nightmare.

When we were at the cemetery,we could not speak in front of his grave as if there were big lumps in our  throat.Without any tinge of doubt,we were definitely going to miss Danial.He had  carried with him all those nostalgic moments.Our eyes were puffy and red.Droplets of copious tears were dripping down from our cheeks.We could do nothing but felt our heart had been ripped off……no matter what,our good friend,Daniel still remained in our heart.
